We have had this printer about 6 months. I thought it would be great to have scanner, copy, fax all in one but I was wrong with this Brother L2700DW. In our home it does not get daily use and if not used frequently it looses the wifi connection and must constantly be reset, which is a whole process of button pushing on this machine. I am not unfamiliar with internet and tech so like to think I am competent, but the process to actually get the machine to scan a document to your computer is quite confusing to me as well. Too many options that are not very clear. Wish we had read reviews of products and chose another product. We spend way too much of our time resetting this machine when we need to use it. After reading other reviews on brother site I see I am not the only one who feels this way. I run a small business from my home and today am trying to send out a signed contract, been 20 minutes now resetting the wifi> If you have the time and the patience, then this product is for you.

I purchased this item on line, Arrived on time as scheduled. Set up was easy, worked right out of the box, What they should include is operation video on how all the features work. I found one on line which was useful. The product support is awesome. Had clear and understandable instructions on what to do.

The printer was fairly easy to install and easy to use. Had some issues with sharing the same phone line with the phones in the house, so I just set it to manual since I don't fax that much. I had an ink jet printer which gave me a lot problems and cartridges were expensive, so I'm trying this instead. So far the print quality has been good and have had no issues.
